Trainers

Taught by people who do the work.

NAPTIN trainers are practising engineers, technicians and managers from across Nigeria's electricity supply industry. Every one of them is assessed on qualifications and course competence, and validated by the Training Directorate before they are approved to teach.

What we look for
01
Industry experience & qualifications

Minimum 5 years active field, engineering or management experience in generation, transmission, distribution or renewable energy systems across Nigeria's power supply industry.

02
Course competence assessment

Demonstrated technical mastery of specific NAPTIN curriculum modules, hands-on simulator rigs, high-voltage switchgear, or commercial metering infrastructure.

03
Pedagogical & safety validation

Formal assessment and validation by the NAPTIN Training Directorate covering adult learning methodology, instructional delivery, and strict electrical safety protocols.

How approval works
01
Apply online with profile & CV
02
Directorate credential audit
03
Competence interview & micro-teach
04
Approved & assigned to cohort
Once approved, your assigned courses appear on your trainer dashboard, where you mark attendance, upload training reports and submit results for approval.
